Garrett Kachellek

Founder, Owner, and Education Director

Garrett is a Charlotte native with a passion for education and real estate. He earned his bachelor's degree in Political Science from Elon University and later obtained a master’s degree in Adult Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Garrett began his career in higher education, teaching and leading new student orientation at UNCG before moving to the University of Utah, where he specialized in leadership development and student engagement. In 2015, he returned to Charlotte to follow in his family’s footsteps, becoming a third-generation REALTOR®. Over the past decade, he has built a successful career in real estate, earning his Broker-in-Charge (BIC) eligible license in 2018 and his real estate educator license in 2023.

With a unique blend of adult education expertise and hands-on real estate experience, Garrett is dedicated to providing a superior continuing education experience for licensed agents, helping them grow and succeed in the industry.

Colin Niebuhr

Certified Residential Appraiser & Instructor

Colin has been a Certified Residential Appraiser since 2005 and brings nearly two decades of experience to his courses. He currently teaches Understanding Residential Appraisals, an elective designed to help brokers navigate valuation issues, appraisal processes, and lender expectations with confidence.

Colin’s background as both an appraiser and educator makes his classes engaging, relatable, and grounded in the realities of today’s market.
