  • This Education Provider is certified by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission (License #1828). The Commission’s address is 1313 Navaho Drive, Raleigh, NC 27609. Any complaints concerning the Education Provider or its affiliated instructors should be directed in writing to the Commission.      Per Commission Rule 58H .0204, the Education Provider must provide each prospective student with a copy of the Education Provider’s Policies & Procedures Disclosure (PPD) prior to payment of any non-refundable tuition or fee. The PPD, which is required by the NC Real Estate Commission, outlines Education Provider policies plus the rights and obligations of the Provider and the student. A signed certification that a student received a copy of the PPD must be retained by the Provider.

    Justin Garrett Kachellek is certified by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission license #2554.  Garrett Kachellek has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Elon University and a Master of Education degree focusing in Student Personnel Administration in Higher Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  Garrett taught courses at UNCG, while running New Student Orientation and Parent Programs.  Garrett then transitioned to teaching Leadership Development at the University of Utah, while working in New Student Orientation and Leadership Development departments. In 2015, Garrett moved back to Charlotte and became a 3rd generation real estate agent.  He received BIC eligible status in 2019 and his NCREC Educator License in 2023.  Garrett works as an agent with Allen Tate in Charlotte.

  • Per Commission Rule 58A .1705(a): In order to receive credit for completing an approved continuing education course, a broker shall:

    (1) attend at least 90 percent of the scheduled instructional hours for the course and attend the last 20 minutes of class;

    (2) provide his or her legal name and license number to the education provider;

    (3) present his or her pocket card or photo identification card, if necessary; and

    (4) personally perform all work required to complete the course.

    All-Inclusive Tuition/Fees All Fees associated with the Continuing Education Courses offered at Providence Real Estate Education are included in the initial registration fee. All student resources are provided by Providence Real Estate Education via print or pdf attachment to an email.

  • Registration & Enrollment

    To enroll in a course at Providence Real Estate Education, prospective students must have access to a computer connected to the internet. Registration will occur on Providence Real Estate Education’s website. All registrations must be received at least 24 hours prior to class starting.  Students must sign up for a (FREE) ZOOM account for all online instruction taught synchronously.  All courses in person and synchronous will be limited to a maximum of 25 students. All students will acknowledge receipt of Policy and Procedure Disclosure at check out for course registration.

    Tuition and Fees

    Providence Real Estate Education Charges $60.00 and accepts the following forms of payment: All major credit cards, Apple Pay. Tuition must be received by: 24 hours prior to the beginning of class.

  • Students in an in-person or synchronous distance learning Continuing Education Courses must attend a minimum of 90% of all scheduled instructional hours and must attend the last 20 minutes of the course. All students will be closely monitored by our moderator staff. There will be one moderator per 25 students in the classroom. Early departures from CE courses delivered in-person or via synchronous distance learning are prohibited by Rule 58A .1705. Attendance will be closely monitored, including late arrivals and early departures from class sessions and from all scheduled breaks, during in-person and synchronous distance learning courses. All time missed will be recorded for each student.

  • Students enrolled in one of our Synchronous course offerings may only access the course using a desktop or laptop computer. A webcam and microphone are also required. Any students connecting to the class through a mobile device will be disconnected. Students will need to download and install the most recent version of Zoom and ensure all hardware and software are working prior to the start of class.

     Students must be in a well-lit room so they are visible on camera and must remain on camera at all times during instruction. Students are not permitted to connect from a vehicle and will be removed from the course immediately.

  • Course Cancellation or Rescheduling:

    Providence Real Estate Education reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course as needed. Students enrolled in a rescheduled or cancelled course will be given a minimum 24 hours’ notice of the cancellation or revised course schedule. If a course is cancelled or rescheduled, students will have the following options: Full refund or free re-registration for an upcoming version of the course that was cancelled.  If inclement weather affects transportation in the area, Providence Real Estate Education reserves the right to move a course online via Zoom at the scheduled time.  Providence Real Estate Education will try to give as much advanced notice as possible. If communications are affected by outages, time away from class will count towards attendance.  Providence Real Estate Education will work with the student affected to reschedule to a future class, as needed.

    Withdrawals, Transfers & Refunds:

    A student may withdraw from a course by giving written notice to the Education Provider up to 7 days prior to the start of the course. In such event, the student will have the following options: A full refund or re-registration in an equivalent upcoming course. If the withdraw takes place within 7 days prior to the start of the course, Providence Real Estate Education reserves the right to withhold the student’s registration fee. In such a case, the student may still register at no cost to an equivalent upcoming course. A student who terminates enrollment in a course either with written notice to the Education Provider or by failing to attend a course on or after the beginning of class will not be entitled to a refund of any portion of paid tuition.

  • Students are expected to be respectful at all times of their instructor and their peers. For courses taught on Zoom, all students should always keep their webcams on during course instruction and keep their microphones on mute unless talking about relevant course material to their instructor or peers. Any time that a student is away from their webcam or engaged in non-coursework will counts towards missed class time.  Students are expected be respectful when using the chat and emoji functions.

    Disrespectful students will be immediately dismissed from the class and forfeit all tuition fees. Students are not allowed to use their computers during class time for any purpose that is not relevant to the course. Use of phones is strictly prohibited unless using for participation in the course.

    Students are expected to be actively engaged in the course material through participation in discussions, assessments, and other instructor lead exercises. 

  • Providence Real Estate Education will only speak with students regarding their records, changes, or withdrawals.  All class communication will arrive at least 24 hours before the course begins.  This communication will include dates, times, locations, and links to course materials.  Students will be encouraged to download course materials prior to class beginning.  They may use electronic devices in lieu of printing materials, as long as electronics are used for course work only.

  • Classes are meant enrolled students only.  There will be no visitors or guests allowed in classroom or zoom session.
